Grenada Office of Creative Affairs Announces Registration for Sing Grenada Summer Camp for Young Creatives

GOCA is excited to announce that registration for Sing Grenada 2026 is now open for young creatives interested in the music industry. Launched in 2025, Sing Grenada is a youth music programme designed to discover, mentor and showcase the next generation of Grenadian musical talent. This year’s Sing Grenada summer camp runs from July 20 – 31 and is open to young creatives, ages 11 – 17.

“This year, the camp gives kids the chance to go deeper into their specific area of focus. It’s a real opportunity to train with the best, surrounded by peers who bring just as much talent and drive as they do,” says Jeverson Ramirez, Grenadian recording artist and Sing Grenada Camp Coordinator. “We’re building an environment where young prodigies can sharpen their craft and immerse themselves in everything music – this is where the next generation of Grenadian artists gets its start.”

Young creatives participating in the 2026 Sing Grenada summer camp will take specialised courses based on their interests, including vocals, songwriting, music production, guitar, piano, and drums, while writing and recording original songs to be featured on the second volume of the Sing Grenada EP collection.

“Sing Grenada demonstrates GOCA’s commitment to nurturing Grenada’s creative sector. We are inspiring Grenada’s future singers, songwriters, musicians and music producers and creating real opportunities where they can learn how to tap into their natural talent and turn it into a career,” notes Sen. Hon. Adrian Thomas, Minister for Tourism, Creative Economy and Culture. “Through youth initiatives like Sing Grenada, we are strengthening the foundation of our creative economy, ensuring its sustainability and long-term growth. This year’s summer camp promises to be even better, so I encourage young creatives with an interest and passion for music to register and take advantage of this incredible opportunity.”

Registration for Sing Grenada 2026 closes at 11:59 PM on Sunday 12 July 2026. In addition to the registration form, applicants are also required to submit a one-minute audition video showcasing their talent.
