The GOCA Creative Portal and Creative Directory are designed to centralise registration, improve record keeping, and make it easier for creatives and creative businesses in Grenada to connect with opportunities.
This guide includes a full walkthrough recording and answers to frequently asked questions about registration, business listing, and concession applications.
What the GOCA Platform Includes
The platform consists of three connected components:
- The GOCA Website, which provides programme information and updates
- The Creative Portal, where creatives manage their profiles and businesses
- The Creative Directory, the public space where creative services can be discovered
How to Access the Creative Portal
If you are already registered with GOCA, you can access your Creative Profile through the Portal. After logging in, you can:
- Review and update your personal details
- Register one or multiple creative businesses
- Apply for concessions
- Track application status
How to Publish Your Business in the Creative Directory
Registering your business in the Portal does not automatically publish it to the Directory. During business registration, you must select the option to publish publicly.
Only businesses that opt in will appear in the Creative Directory.

Frequently Asked Questions
Registration
What if my old registration information looks incomplete?
The updated system includes additional fields that may not have existed previously. All creatives are encouraged to log in and review their information to ensure accuracy.
Can I edit my application after submission?
Once submitted, applications cannot be edited directly. If corrections are required, you will receive a notification and may be asked to resubmit with the necessary adjustments.
How long does approval take?
Creative Profile updates and business registrations are typically reviewed within 24 to 48 hours.
Concession applications move through multiple review stages, including GOCA, the Permanent Secretary, and the Ministry of Finance. Email notifications are sent as the application progresses.
File Uploads
Is there a file size limit for uploads?
Yes. Each file must fall within the system’s maximum upload size (typically 4 MB). If a file is too large, you may need to compress it before uploading. Keeping files clear and under the limit helps avoid submission errors.
What file formats are accepted?
Invoices and supporting documents should be uploaded in standard formats such as PDF, JPG or PNG. If you are unsure whether a file type is supported, convert it to JPG before submitting by using an online tool.
What should I do if my document will not upload?
First, check the file size and format. If the file exceeds the maximum size or is in an unsupported format, compress or convert it and try again. If the issue continues, contact GOCA for assistance.
Creative Profile
Why can’t I change my email address directly?
Your email address is the primary identifier connected to your profile and applications. To maintain accurate records and avoid duplication, email changes must be handled internally.
Why are the Creative Profile and Creative Business Registration separate?
The Creative Profile represents you as an individual creative. It stores your personal details and serves as your main account within the GOCA system.
The Creative Business Registration represents your business or businesses. A single Creative Profile can manage multiple businesses under one account.
This structure keeps records organised, prevents duplication, and allows you to:
- Apply for concessions under a specific business
- Publish selected businesses to the Creative Directory
- Manage multiple ventures from one login
Separating the individual from the business ensures the system reflects how creatives actually operate, especially those who manage more than one creative enterprise.

Concession Applications
Why does no business appear when I try to apply for a concession?
Concessions must be linked to a registered creative business. If nothing appears in the dropdown, it means a business has not yet been registered under your profile.
Can I upload multiple invoices under one concession application?
Yes. You can upload multiple invoices within a single concession request. All relevant supporting documents should be included in that submission.
What happens if my concession application is rejected?
You will receive a notification outlining the reason for rejection. Where applicable, corrections can be made and the application resubmitted.
Why the Creative Directory Matters
The Creative Directory functions as a public marketplace for creative professionals and businesses in Grenada. It allows organisations to search by sector and location and helps creatives improve visibility beyond word of mouth.
If you are part of the creative community, we encourage you to:
- Log in and review your profile
- Register and publish your business
- Share the Creative Directory within your networks
The stronger the participation, the stronger the ecosystem.
